Although I don't often wander around in Nostalgiaville; this was considerably more than nostalgia. The author gives real step by step tips for making a variety of recipes that the "good cooks" just do intuitively. She gives us some of the basic how-to steps that are seldom included in most recipes!I have tried the Cranberry Orange Relish and it delicious! (Okay, I added some extra orange zest since I wanted to overpower the cranberries!)
This would be a nice gift for just about anyone who has a kitchen. Oh, yes! I was surprised to find there is an index in the back!
